Ukrainian defenders repelled 36 Russian attacks in the Pokrovsk direction, the highest count among all sectors in a day that included 177 total combat clashes. The General Staff released these figures in a Facebook update posted at 08:00 on October 26, 2026.

The Huliaipole front recorded the second highest volume of activity. Ukrainian units repelled 13 attacks near Uspenske, Rizdvianka, Dolynka, Hirke, and Yehorivka. Russian troops also attempted to advance toward Nadiia, Novopavlivka, Sofiivka, Vilne, Kucheriv Yar, Hannivka, Novyi Donbas, Chernihivka, Krasnopodillia, and Hulove on the Pokrovsk line.

Engagement levels decreased as one moved north. The Kostiantynivka front saw 12 recorded attacks, while the South Slobozhanshchyna and Lyman fronts each logged eight repelled assaults. Russian forces probed near Radkivka, Bochkove, Okhrimivka, and Zakharivka in the south, and near Stepove, Zelena Dolyna, Kolodiazi, Stavky, Lyman, and Zarichne in the east.

The Kramatorsk front experienced a single attack near Malynivka. In the north, the North Slobozhanshchyna sector saw three attacks near Bachivsk, Boiaro-Lezhachi, and Oleksiivka.

Several sectors remained quiet. The General Staff reported no assaults on the Kupiansk front and no offensive operations on the Sloviansk, Oleksandrivka, Orikhiv, or Prydniprovske fronts. Commanders noted the operational situation on the Volyn and Polissia fronts remained stable, with no evidence of Russian offensive groups forming in those areas.
