ABS Gaming PC Price Falls $450

Shoppers at Newegg can now purchase the ABS Stratos II Ruby pre-built computer for $2,549.99. This price represents a $450 reduction from the standard list price. The discount makes the system the cheapest RTX 5070 Ti gaming PC currently available on the retailer's website, according to Tom's Hardware.

The machine is built around the AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D processor. This eight-core chip utilizes 3D V-Cache technology to expand its L3 cache to 96MB. The larger cache allows the processor to access data more quickly without relying on slower system memory. This design helps maintain consistent frame rates, and Tom's Hardware notes that no Intel processor currently matches the X3D series for gaming performance.

Graphics are handled by the Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 Ti. This card is part of Nvidia's Blackwell generation and features 8,960 CUDA cores alongside 16GB of GDDR7 video memory. It supports DLSS with multi-frame generation, a feature that aids performance in 4K titles. The 16GB of video memory provides more capacity than the 8GB found in lower-tier cards like the RTX 5060.

The system includes 32GB of DDR5 memory installed as two G.Skill Ripjaws M5 Neo RGB modules. These modules run at a speed of 6,000 MT/s. Storage is provided by a 2TB Team Group NV5000 M.2 SSD with Gen 4 speeds. This capacity offers sufficient space for multiple large game installations. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, and Ethernet.

Cooling for the processor is managed by a Bitspower 240mm all-in-one liquid cooler. ABS is a private label brand owned by Newegg, which is why the system appears frequently on the retailer's site. Tom's Hardware expects the offer to sell out quickly due to the combination of the high-performance processor and graphics card at this price point.
