Anker has lowered the price of its Soundcore Space 2 wireless headphones to $106.49. The discount of $23 is available today at Amazon, Best Buy, and Walmart. The sale price applies to all three available color options.
This price point marks the lowest cost for the device since its release. The Space 2 replaced the Space One, which launched in 2023. The newer model carries a list price that is $30 higher than its predecessor. The current discount reduces that initial premium for buyers.
The hardware features stronger active noise cancellation than the previous version. The system suppresses low-frequency sounds more effectively. This includes noise from trains and airplane engines. Soundcore also adjusted the internal design to produce more accurate sound output compared to the original model.
The headphones retain several features from the earlier model. They support high-resolution LDAC audio codecs. The devices also use HearID 3.0 technology. This feature personalizes the audio profile based on the user's response to a series of test samples.
Battery life has increased with the new model. With noise cancellation enabled, the unit runs for up to 50 hours. This is an increase of 10 hours over the 40-hour limit of the Space One. When noise cancellation is off, the battery lasts up to 70 hours, compared to 55 hours on the older version.
The headphones include a 3.5mm audio jack for wired listening. Playback pauses automatically when the user removes the device from their head. This feature allows listeners to resume audio from the same point after stepping away. The Verge describes the product as an easy recommendation due to its improved performance and value.
