Apple's iPhone Duo reaches 50 percent battery in 20 minutes only when connected to specific power hardware. The company's support documentation confirms that fast charging depends on the adapter and cable used, not just the device itself. Without the correct combination, the speed drops significantly.

For wired charging, Apple specifies that users must use the USB-C cable included in the box. The power adapter must be rated for 60W or more. Apple lists its own 40W Dynamic Power Adapter with 60W Max as one option, priced at $34. Third-party adapters are also permitted if they support Adjustable Voltage Supply and USB Power Delivery 3.2.

Wireless charging operates at a slower pace. Apple states the iPhone Duo reaches 50 percent in 30 minutes when charged wirelessly. This requires a MagSafe Charger, listed at $30, or a third-party adapter rated at 35W or higher. Apple identifies compatible products from itself and Anker.

9to5Mac notes that third-party chargers often provide better value than Apple's first-party options. The outlet recommends Anker's 100W charging brick, which supports iPhones, Macs, and iPads. The writer also notes that Apple's 40W Dynamic Power Adapter remains a solid choice at its reduced price for those preferring official hardware.

Buyers seeking more cable length can purchase Apple's official 2-meter USB-C cable, which is currently available at a discount. The documentation clarifies that while the phone supports both wired and wireless fast charging, the maximum speeds are strictly tied to these accessory requirements.
