Fi is lowering the cost of its satellite-connected pet trackers through October 25. Shoppers who enter the coupon code SCARY at checkout receive a 30 percent discount on eligible models. The offer includes the Fi Ultra, a device that combines multiple communication networks to locate animals.

With the discount applied, the Fi Ultra price falls to $209.30. This amount matches the price when the product first launched. The standard price for the device is higher, making the current two-day window a temporary reduction for buyers.

The Fi Ultra is designed for durability and long-term use. It holds an IP68 rating, which means it functions fully in saltwater. Battery life extends up to five days, depending on the animal's activity level. The unit clips onto a collar or harness and uses LTE, GPS, and Starlink satellite signals to determine location. It can also vibrate or play sounds to alert the pet.

Fi states that the Ultra is the first dog tracker to merge T-Satellite with Starlink, GPS, and LTE. The device helps owners find pets in areas without cellular service. However, the hardware is relatively large, which may make it less suitable for small dogs.

Testing earlier this year found that tracking updates occur every two to three minutes. This interval may delay locating a fast-moving animal. Battery performance drops in Lost Mode, where a full charge lasts only about two days. The subscription plans are required to access tracking features. A one-year plan costs $99 for the first year and $189 for subsequent years. These plans operate only in the United States and do not provide satellite coverage in Alaska.

Other products are also discounted on Amazon during this period. A physical copy of Kirby Air Riders for the Nintendo Switch 2 is listed at $48.99, down from its regular price of $69.99. The JLab JBuds Talk USB-C microphone is available for $24.99, a reduction from its typical range of $50 to $100. The Lego Star Wars Grogu set, which contains 1,200 pieces, is priced at $103.99, representing a $26 drop from its previous low.

The Fi promotion ends on October 25. Buyers must apply the coupon code at checkout to receive the reduced rate. The device requires an active subscription for full functionality. The physical size of the tracker suggests it fits larger dogs best. The pricing structure for Fi plans includes lower monthly rates for longer terms.
