Netflix has renewed the adult animated comedy Haunted Hotel for a third season, confirming the series will return in 2027. The decision ends speculation about the show's future after its second season premiered earlier this month.
Writer Matt Roller stated that the scripts for the upcoming season are already complete. He indicated that creators are targeting a ten-episode order for the third installment. Roller described the new stories as the biggest, funniest, and scariest the team has produced.
The renewal secures the return of the primary voice cast. Will Forte, Eliza Coupe, Skyler Gisondo, Natalie Palamides, and Jimmi Simpson will reprise their roles. The series follows a single mother managing a haunted hotel while raising two children with the help of supernatural allies.
The show has maintained strong viewership metrics since its launch. Season 1, released in September 2025, has accumulated more than 15 million views. Season 2 debuted on the Global English TV Top 10 list upon its recent arrival on the platform.
Dan Harmon, a co-creator of Rick and Morty, serves as an executive producer alongside Chris McKenna, Steve Levy, and Roller. Erica Hayes remains the supervising director. Titmouse continues as the animation studio for the production.
