Concertgoers hoping to secure seats for Noah Kahan's April 2027 Tampa performance may face a new hurdle at checkout. Ticketmaster is requiring some customers to submit facial selfies or state-issued identification before completing their purchases. The measure aims to stop automated bots and brokers from hoarding inventory during the presale window.
The policy affects a select group of applicants. Ticketmaster partnered with Persona, a third-party verification vendor, to implement the check. The company stated that for the vast majority of fans, the process remains unchanged. However, some users will be asked to complete a short security check using a quick selfie. In rarer cases, fans will upload their ID directly through the Persona platform.
Kahan's stop in Tampa is the only Florida date on his 31-stop itinerary for The Last of the Bugs World Tour. The performance is scheduled for April 29, 2027, at Raymond James Stadium. It marks his third appearance in the city, following a 2023 show at the MidFlorida Credit Union Amphitheatre and two 2026 shows at Orlando's Kia Center.
Ticket prices for the stadium event will range from $59.95 to $399.95 before fees. Ticketmaster has established a six-ticket limit per buyer. Eligible Spotify Premium subscribers can purchase up to two tickets during their exclusive presale window. General public sales begin at noon on November 12, 2026.
Registration for early access closes on November 5. A separate presale window notes an early registration cutoff of November 6. Artist presale access opens at noon on November 10. Spotify Premium subscribers will receive app notifications and access invitations starting at 9 a.m. on November 11.
Ticketmaster says Persona retains biometric data for no more than 60 days following successful verification. The company claims the information is encrypted and will not be sold or used to train artificial intelligence models. Officials have not confirmed how many total applicants will be selected for the enhanced screenings. They also have not specified what secondary identification alternatives exist for fans who decline digital facial verification.
To combat inflated resale prices, tickets purchased through Ticketmaster will be nontransferable. Fans can only resold tickets at their original price through the platform's Face Value Exchange. This restriction applies to all tickets sold for the Tampa concert.
