TechCrunch announced the full speaker lineup for its Founder Summit 2026 on Thursday, October 23.
The event is scheduled for November 4 at SoWa Power Station in Boston and is hosted with Fidelity Private Shares. The program moves beyond standard fundraising and artificial intelligence topics to address specific operational challenges. Sessions will cover customer acquisition, team construction, pitch refinement, and founder leadership. The curriculum also examines how companies scale within and outside traditional startup hubs.
Steve Fredette, president and co-founder of Toast, will speak on the Impact Stage about building a company that continuously reinvents itself. The discussion will address how a business evolves as market conditions and customer expectations shift. Two investor-led sessions will focus on the balance between growth and restraint. Kent Bennett, a partner at Bessemer Venture Partners, will lead a session on finding product market fit before scaling. Rudina Seseri, founder and managing partner of Glasswing Ventures, will discuss when to accelerate and when to slow down.
Lior Div, CEO and co-founder of 7AI, will present on building companies for AI from the start. The session distinguishes between adding AI to existing processes and designing a company’s architecture around the technology. The summit will also highlight the local ecosystem through Chase Garbarino, CEO and co-founder of HqO. Garbarino will discuss the Boston founder playbook, focusing on talent, capital, and community outside the Bay Area. This session pairs with the Toast talk to emphasize that ambitious companies can be built in Boston without copying Silicon Valley.
Dave Balter, a venture partner at True Ventures and CEO of Edisyl, will lead a session on making pitches that secure the next conversation. A live pitch contest titled So You Think You Can Pitch will take place on the Build Stage later in the afternoon. Balter will join Chirag Shah of Define Ventures and Simran Suri of Maveron to judge the presentations in real time. Other speakers include Hunter Worland of NEA on distribution advantages and Vineet Edupuganti of Cogent Security on building high-performance teams.
Tina Tosukhowong of TDK Ventures will discuss signals that identify category winners. Fidelity Private Shares will contribute sessions on fundraising trends and enterprise relationships, led by Kristen Craft and Evan Schnidman respectively. The day will include roundtables, networking opportunities, and a closing reception. TechCrunch is offering a 25% discount on tickets and a buy-one-get-one deal for registrations made before the event.
