Real Madrid have identified Liverpool midfielder Alexis Mac Allister as a target for a future transfer window. According to reports from Sky Germany, José Mourinho is a strong advocate for signing the 27-year-old Argentine. Mourinho specifically values Mac Allister’s physical presence and his strength in challenges on the pitch.

Mac Allister remains under contract with Liverpool until 2028. The club has no concrete plans in place to extend his deal at this time. Madrid are actively monitoring his situation, but they expect Liverpool to resist any approach for such a key player. The 27-year-old is a central figure in the current Reds squad, making a short-term departure unlikely.

Liverpool are simultaneously lining up potential replacements to ensure depth in their midfield. Sky Germany revealed that the club holds Borussia Dortmund midfielder Felix Nmecha in high regard. While the 26-year-old is not a priority target right now, his status could change as the Reds seek reinforcements. Nmecha is under contract at Dortmund until June 2030, having joined the club from Wolfsburg in 2023.

Other players have also been added to Liverpool’s shortlist for central midfield roles. Monaco’s Lamine Camara and Bournemouth’s Alex Scott are both under consideration. These two players have faced interest from other major clubs in recent months, including Chelsea and Manchester United. Liverpool aims to secure a player who can provide immediate impact or long-term stability in the middle of the park.

The transfer market continues to see movement across other top European clubs. Arsenal has expressed interest in Monza striker Gustavo Varela, a 21-year-old Portuguese forward. Varela has scored seven goals in eight Serie A matches this season. Napoli is expected to make a move in January to secure his services, while his former club Benfica holds the right to match future offers and is entitled to 20 percent of the profit from his next transfer.

Manchester United is looking to strengthen its defense with a potential pursuit of Newcastle United left back Lewis Hall. The 22-year-old recently extended his contract until 2031, signaling his long-term commitment to St James’ Park. However, United could revive their interest next summer. Newcastle is set to reject any departure in January, and Hall is currently happy at his current club, though he has not ruled out a future move to Old Trafford. A transfer fee could reach upwards of £70 million.

Bayern Munich is closely monitoring the development of 17-year-old Wael Mohya from Borussia Mönchengladbach. Several other clubs, including Borussia Dortmund, RB Leipzig, and Bayer Leverkusen, are also interested. A winter transfer is considered unlikely at this stage. Gladbach wants to extend his contract beyond 2028 with a release clause included. His staying power depends on whether the club avoids relegation next summer.
