The NBA schedule features 12 games on Wednesday, Oct. 28, with two nationally televised contests driving betting interest. The Philadelphia 76ers travel to Indiana, while the Dallas Mavericks host the Oklahoma City Thunder. SportsLine’s projection model, which runs 10,000 simulations per game, identifies two key player prop opportunities for the evening.

The model recommends LeBron James to go over 30.5 in points, rebounds, and assists at minus 117 odds. James has surpassed that threshold in two of his four games with the 76ers this season. The system projects a combined total of 36.1 for the all-time scoring leader, a number supported by injuries on the opposing side. Pacers center Ivica Zubac is out, while guards Tyrese Haliburton and Andrew Nembhard are listed as questionable.

In Dallas, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander faces a depleted Mavericks roster. The two-time MVP will play without Jalen Williams and Cason Wallace, who suffered injuries earlier in the week. Alex Caruso, Chet Holmgren, and Thomas Sorber will also sit. SportsLine projects Gilgeous-Alexander for 59.7 in the same combined category, far exceeding the recommended over 42.5 line. The model attributes this high projection to the increased workload expected due to the Thunder’s absences.

The SportsLine model has generated nearly $19,000 in profit for $100 players on top-rated NBA picks since 2018. That record includes five consecutive seasons with profits in the thousands. Entering Week 2 of the 2026-27 season, the system holds a 26-10 record, or 72 percent, on top-rated spread picks dating back to the previous season.
