Falk: Trump, Netanyahu Pair Suited to Remove Iran Regime
The Prime Minister's adviser argues the current leadership duo is best positioned to end Iran's current government before Tuesday's election.

Ophir Falk, the foreign policy adviser to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, stated that the removal of Iran's government serves the interests of America, Israel, and civilization. He identified the partnership between Netanyahu and US President Donald Trump as the correct team to execute this strategic goal. Falk made these arguments in written remarks sent to The Jerusalem Post ahead of Israel's general election scheduled for Tuesday, October 27.
The adviser framed the upcoming vote as a decision on which leader will best coordinate with the White House. He asked voters to consider who will finish the work in Iran and expand regional peace. Falk noted that Trump expressed support for Netanyahu on Sunday evening. On the social platform Truth Social, the US president wrote, "Vote for Bibi Netanyahu for Prime Minister; we have to finish the job that we started!"
Falk contrasted this American backing with the preferences of Israel's regional opponents. He listed Hamas, Hezbollah, the Houthis, and Iran as groups that desire a Netanyahu defeat. The adviser described the current strategic balance as favorable for the West. He asserted that Israel and the American-Israeli alliance have never been stronger, while Iran and its proxy networks have never been weaker.
This push for regime change follows earlier public comments from Falk. In an interview with The Jerusalem Post on October 15, he described Israel as being very close to creating the conditions necessary for a shift in power in Tehran. At that time, he emphasized that the final decision would rest with the Iranian people. He stated that regime change in Iran is up to the Iranian people themselves.
The written comments provided ahead of the election did not specify a timetable for removing Iran's leadership. Falk did not detail the specific mechanisms by which the United States and Israel would work together toward that end. The remarks focused on the political alignment between the two leaders rather than a step-by-step military or diplomatic plan. The election takes place on Tuesday, with voters deciding the direction of the Israeli government for the final two years of the Trump administration.
Falk's intervention adds a direct foreign policy dimension to the domestic campaign. By linking the election outcome to the broader US-Israeli strategy against Iran, he positions the race as a choice between continuing the current partnership or altering the leadership structure. The adviser's comments highlight the interplay between the Israeli vote and the remaining term of the US presidency.
